After much contemplation and hearing albums, here are the hits and misses albums in 2009. First the black eye, these 10 albums didn't made the passing mark to me, and instead lump back into the kitchen. Though some are really flop (commercially and critically), but others did make it to the top, though to me the music didn't click this time.
Notable here is U2's "No Line On The Horizon". I've been a fan since their Joshua Tree era, but this latest offering didn't really fly into my consciousness. Even the band admitted that they themselves didn't anticipated the negative returns.

Well for the good news, I can consider that 2009 is a modest year for good music. So without much ado, again in alphabetical order, here's my top 20 albums in 2009. Excluded are compilation, greatest hits and live albums:
