The Fray - You Found Me (Single)

Source: Wikipedia

"You Found Me" is the first single from Denver-based piano rock band The Fray from their eponymous second studio album. The single has been digitally released in the U.S., Canadian, UK, Australian and French iTunes Stores. The song became the group's third single to sell 2,000,000 downloads in the United States, after "How to Save a Life" and "Over My Head. The song was ranked #13 on Billboard's Hot 100 Songs of 2009.

The video was shot in Chicago with Josh Forbes as the director and premiered on December 9, 2008, on VH1 and on the VH1 website. It depicts scenes of the band members in different roles- playing the song in the rafters of a steel building, unknown people, and the members of the band are standing on top of skyscrapers looking towards the sky, and at a car accident at which the band oversees those involved, somehow being their own "guardian angel". The video ends with all material objects being lifted into the air.

The Lotus Eaters - The First Picture Of You

If there is a song that has a lasting affect in me during my youth, this is one of them. And the song is as fresh as the mid-80's.

Corey Hart - Sunglasses At Night

Source: Wikipedia

"Sunglasses at Night" is a hit song recorded by Canadian singer Corey Hart. It was the first single to be released off his debut album, 1983's First Offense, and became a hit single in the United States, rising to #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 1984. The song is considered by many to be a classic of 1980s pop rock and New Wave music, combining an unflagging synthesizer hook, rock guitar, obscure lyrics and a punk undercurrent throughout the song.

The music video, however, reflects the original vision of a police state, with scenes of Hart in a prison cell, without sunglasses, being strong-armed by police officers and paraded past various citizens wearing their regulation shades. Near the end of the video, Hart is brought to the office of a female police officer, played by Laurie Brown, who later became the host of The NewMusic as well as a VJ on MuchMusic.

The song made #50 in VH1's 50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs of all Time. The song also made #23 in Blender magazine's 50 Worst Songs Ever.

Imogen Heap - Goodnight And Go

"Goodnight and Go" is a song by British singer-songwriter Imogen Heap, the second single from her 2005 album Speak for Yourself. The single received a little more push and promotion in the U.S. than "Hide and Seek", and the music video has received airplay, especially on VH1. Jeff Beck plays guitar solo in this song.
